Meet Our Team
Our team consists of three ambitious young women, Rawan AlKandari the founder, her righthand woman Mariam AlMaghrebi and their most dedicated pupil, Fatma Naema.

Though we differ on many occasions, we connect through our love for writing, creating and mastering the art of language itself. Our team looks forward to expanding and welcoming like-minded individuals to join our Comma family. Until then, let us give you a proper introduction.
Mariam AlMaghrebi
Mariam AlMaghrebi is a published poet and an MA graduate in English Literature from the University of Leeds. Her major had taught her how to weave characters and build personalities.
Copywriting had helped her combine her passions and her ambition, expanding her options and her love for writing.

After graduating in 2018, Mariam had joined Comma and partnered with Rawan into what is considered a dream come true.
Rawan
AlKandari
Comma was founded by Rawan AlKandari back in 2018.
​
Rawan had worked as a free-lancer in the writing field for the past 5 years, having graduated university with a degree in Language & Education. She published a book titled 'Dose of Sunshine' in 2016, where she poured into it all of her positivity, her advice and her talent for touching people's hearts.
​
In 2018, she had received her training at The Guardian, in London, and established Comma shortly after.
Fatma
Naema
Fatma Naema is Comma's latest member, our dedicated pupil from Bahrain. Fatima graduated from the University of Qatar with a BA in Policies of Planning and Development, as well as Mass Communication. Studying a bilingual major helped her in find her best way into translation and bridge the two languages professionally.
Fatma skilfully weaves English into Arabic and vice versa. She also has an eye for design and is a hardworking researcher.
